Advance your career as a Senior Service Design Architect. This role is key to driving business unit strategy by creating sustainable, scalable, and best-practice service offerings. You will collaborate with Service Offer/Portfolio Management to define and scope new services and capabilities.

Engage with essential stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Platform, and client teams. Your focus will be on ensuring service designs effectively meet diverse global client needs.

This position involves the full product lifecycle, from conception and planning through to production, release, and end-of-life. You will act as a central point of contact for design, process, architecture, testing, and commercial aspects, guiding products from development to delivery and ongoing maintenance.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing products throughout their lifecycle, including modifications and upgrades.

Design and develop paper prototypes for stakeholder review, ensuring scope and definition feasibility. Document internal service definitions for new service offers and capabilities. Facilitate ideation and design workshops to validate needs and identify solution designs at process, platform, and organizational levels. Coordinate with other architects, designers, and subject matter experts for detailed solution designs. Ensure designs adhere to common and specific design principles for services. Leverage best practices in design thinking, scaled agile, ITIL, and security to create leading service solutions. Conceptualize designs through detailed analysis of service design and architecture frameworks, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Analyze pre-sales concepts and influence design decisions for operability, maintainability, scalability, and robustness. Plan design activities meticulously, considering all relevant aspects and client requirements. Produce and maintain all design documentation, including blueprints and service design models. Build service cost models encompassing all cost aspects, including vendor agreements and licensing. Assess architecture components and validate technical models to minimize risks and ensure service level compliance.

Possess a strong understanding of IT operations and service offerings, alongside knowledge of the IT industry environment and business needs. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Typically requires significant related experience with a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree. Leading SAFe. ITIL Foundation Certificate V3 (ITIL-Fv3) or equivalent. Certified in human-centred design/design thinking is advantageous.

Required Experience: Substantial experience in an Information Technology environment, especially within IT Operations. A moderate level of relevant experience in a similar role within a related field. Previous experience in Operations Architecture, Service Architecture, or Pre-sales Consulting for outsourced services is essential.
