As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for comprehensive security monitoring and alert triage across various platforms. This includes investigating security alerts from SIEM, EDR, identity, email, network, and cloud security systems.

You will assess alert validity, severity, and business impact, following established response playbooks for containment and remediation. Maintaining meticulous investigation records and ensuring clear communication during shift handoffs are also key duties. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security issues and enhance response capabilities.

Your role will extend to supporting incident response efforts, contributing to post-incident reviews, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. You will also assist in developing and tuning detection rules, reviewing threat intelligence, and validating indicators to strengthen our defenses.

We are looking for candidates with foundational knowledge of security operations, common attack vectors, and incident investigation techniques. Familiarity with Windows, Linux, networking concepts, authentication, and enterprise or cloud services is essential.

Practical experience with security alerts, logs, and tools such as SIEM or EDR is required. You should possess strong analytical judgment and the ability to adhere to procedures while knowing when to escalate issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including robust documentation and cross-shift collaboration abilities, are also necessary.

This role requires a willingness to work scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Typically, 1–4 years of relevant experience in security operations, incident response, or IT operations is expected. Internships, lab work, projects, or equivalent practical experience are highly valued. A degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is a prerequisite.
