Join our new Integrated Security Operations Center (ISOC) in Bengaluru as a Security Analyst. This role focuses on monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts across our diverse technology landscape.

You will be instrumental in 24x7 alert triage, distinguishing malicious activities from normal operations, assessing their impact, and initiating appropriate actions. As you grow, opportunities will arise to contribute to incident response, detection engineering, threat intelligence, and broader security enhancement projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Security Monitoring: Analyzing alerts from SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms, correlating logs, and assessing alert validity and business impact. - Event Response: Following established playbooks for containment, remediation, and escalation of complex issues, while maintaining accurate investigation records. - Incident Support: Assisting in incident response with evidence collection, timeline development, and post-incident reviews. - Improvement Initiatives: Identifying recurring alert patterns, workflow gaps, and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. - Detection Engineering: Contributing to the development, testing, and tuning of detection rules, and applying threat intelligence to investigations.

To excel in this role, you will bring:

- Foundational knowledge of security operations, common attack vectors, and incident investigation principles. - Familiarity with Windows, Linux, networking, authentication, and enterprise/cloud services. - Practical exposure to security alerts, logs, and tools like SIEM or EDR. - Strong analytical judgment and the ability to adhere to procedures while knowing when to escalate. - Clear written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in documentation and cross-shift collaboration. - A degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Typically 1-4 years of relevant experience, with strong internships, labs, or projects also being highly valued.
