Join Google's multi-disciplinary UX team as a Senior Qualitative UX Researcher for YouTube. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to gather insights and develop industry-leading products. Your role is crucial in understanding user needs, driving impact throughout product development, and ensuring products are useful, usable, and helpful.

This position involves close collaboration with Program Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, Data Science, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams. You will lead the research agenda for Channel Memberships, working within the Fan Funding UX team which also encompasses Paid Digital Goods.

Take ownership of project priorities, ensuring alignment with overarching product goals and managing resource allocation.
Drive product and service enhancements by leveraging research-driven insights and recommendations.
Lead teams in defining and assessing the impact of products, services, and the overall ecosystem.
Shape strategic discussions through in-depth analysis and synthesis of user, product, service, or business needs.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Minimum of six years of experience in an applied research setting, such as product development or academia.
Proficiency in various research methods including usability studies, contextual inquiries, one-on-one interviews, and unmoderated research.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in fields like Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, or Anthropology.
Five years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership is beneficial.
Three years of experience managing projects and navigating large, matrixed organizations is also preferred.
