EY's Global Government & Public Sector (GPS) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Advisory team in Kolkata. This role focuses on supporting public sector entities in navigating digital transformation and reinventing their services for the future. Our Transaction Advisory Services (SaT) practice combines private sector expertise with a deep understanding of public sector needs to deliver improved public services. We focus on strategic finance, capital allocation, and financial planning to help clients manage risk and optimize capital efficiency.

As a Senior Project Manager, your core responsibilities will revolve around delivering technical excellence in project finance for infrastructure advisory engagements. This includes developing robust project finance models for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, encompassing financial structuring, viability gap funding, and bankability assessments.

You will manage project finance aspects such as budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, and cash flow management throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience with single-window systems for infrastructure approvals and clearances, contributing to process design and digital workflow integration.

Your role will involve independently owning and executing finance workstreams, acting as the sole finance contributor when necessary. You will also be responsible for evaluating PPP concession agreements, assessing risk allocation, and determining financial feasibility to guide both government and private sector decision-making.

To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure advisory. We are looking for individuals with a proven ability to collaborate across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
