This role as a Senior Project Consultant in Business Consulting for the TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) sector, specifically within CNS, BC, and FINANCE, is based in New Delhi. The TMT industry is undergoing significant transformation, presenting both challenges and opportunities for growth and agility. We operate across multiple service lines, including Business Consulting (Performance Improvement, Risk Consulting), Technology Consulting, and People Advisory Services. Our Business Consulting team helps clients reimagine their business models, drive growth, manage costs, and resolve operational challenges through expertise in transformation, finance, supply chain, and operations.

As a Senior Project Consultant, you will be responsible for converting business priorities into clear operating plans and service objectives. You will own end-to-end delivery for finance processes or portfolios, ensuring service levels, quality, and timeliness. Monitoring operational performance through KPIs and conducting root-cause analysis will be key, alongside effective resource planning for business cycles and transformation initiatives.

You will lead finance domains such as RTR, PTP, OTC, Treasury, Controllership, and/or FP&A. This includes overseeing processes like close, general ledger, reconciliations, invoice processing, cash application, collections, and financial planning & analysis. Ensuring processes adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining robust documentation, will be critical. Proactively identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks is also a core responsibility.

Driving simplification, standardization, and automation across your portfolio will be essential. You will leverage data and process insights to remove non-value-added activities and enhance customer experience. Partnering with technology and business teams on system implementations and continuous improvement programs, as well as embedding scalable ways of working, are also part of the role.

Building trusted relationships with various stakeholders including business finance, operations, tax, legal, technology, banks, vendors, and auditors is vital. You will facilitate governance reviews, resolve escalations, and communicate trade-offs clearly. Acting as a change leader during organizational, process, and technology transformations is a key aspect of this position.

Furthermore, you will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring clear accountability and performance expectations. Planning staffing, hiring, onboarding, and capability development to meet current and future business needs will be a priority. Creating an inclusive, collaborative, and learning-oriented environment that supports engagement, retention, and internal mobility is also a significant part of your role.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and have 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience. We seek individuals who can collaborate effectively across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
