This Senior Project Consultant role is within our Business Consulting PI team, specializing in Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT), and also encompassing CNS, BC, and Finance domains. The TMT sector is rapidly evolving, presenting both opportunities and challenges for organizations navigating industry convergence and the demand for agile growth strategies. We partner with TMT companies to enhance customer and employee experiences, drive operational excellence, manage risk, and support strategic M&A initiatives.

Our EY Consulting arm transforms businesses through people, technology, and innovation, with a client-centric approach focused on delivering long-term value. Within Business Consulting, we address strategic challenges related to business model transformation, growth, cost management, and operational improvements. This includes deep expertise in finance consulting, business transformation, and supply chain and operations.

Key responsibilities include driving technical excellence and end-to-end service delivery for assigned finance processes or portfolios, ensuring adherence to service levels, quality, accuracy, and timeliness. You will monitor operational performance using KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide transparent updates to leadership.

This role involves leading finance domains such as RTR, PTP, OTC, Treasury, Controllership, and/or FP&A, overseeing critical functions like financial close, reconciliations, invoice processing, cash application, and budgeting. Ensuring processes comply with company policies, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks is paramount.

You will be responsible for driving simplification, standardization, automation, and productivity improvements, identifying recurring issues, and removing non-value-added activities. Partnering with technology teams, process owners, and business units on system implementations and continuous improvement programs is essential. Building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders, facilitating governance reviews, resolving escalations, and acting as a change leader during organizational transformations are also key duties.

Furthermore, you will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, planning staffing, hiring, onboarding, and capability development to meet current and future business needs. Creating an inclusive, collaborative, and learning-oriented environment to support engagement and retention is a core aspect of people leadership in this role.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and have 5-8 years of relevant experience. We seek individuals who can collaborate effectively across multiple client departments, adhering to commercial and legal requirements. A practical approach to problem-solving, delivering insightful and practical solutions, is essential.
