Within Business Consulting, we focus on areas like Finance Consulting and Business Transformation, assisting clients in reimagining their finance functions, optimizing performance, and executing large-scale, multi-year programs. This role is based in Chennai.

As a Senior Project Consultant, your key responsibilities will involve delivering technical excellence and contributing to project success. You will be instrumental in supervising end-to-end Procure to Pay (PTP) delivery, encompassing invoice processing, payments, vendor query resolution, and exception handling.

Your role will include leading and monitoring team performance, maintaining effective controls, and analyzing Accounts Payable (AP) reports to support management decisions. You will also be involved in identifying trends, recommending corrective actions, and serving as an escalation point for complex AP issues.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with IT and other departments on system management, participate in system upgrades, and troubleshoot related issues. A critical aspect of this role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls.

To excel in this role, a graduate degree such as a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Commerce (M.Com), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is required. A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in Procure to Pay (PTP) processes is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in PTP processes, including invoice validation, purchase order matching, reconciliations, and exception handling, is crucial. You should possess strong knowledge of ERP platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, complemented by robust reporting capabilities.

Key attributes include a commercially focused, client-service approach, confidence in building relationships, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and flexibility to achieve results. The ability to remain calm under pressure and a practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving are highly valued. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Financial Analysis is also a requirement.
