This Senior Project Consultant role within Business Consulting focuses on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector, specifically within the CNS - BC - FINANCE domain in Chennai. Oversee and manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) delivery process, including invoice processing, payments, vendor queries, and reconciliations. Lead and mentor a team of PTP specialists, monitoring performance against KPIs, and fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense claims, purchase orders, and payment requests, while identifying and implementing process improvements. Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, enforcing internal controls to safeguard assets. Analyze accounts payable reports, identify trends, and provide timely and accurate information to management for decision-making. Serve as an escalation point for complex PTP issues, investigating and resolving discrepancies efficiently. Collaborate with IT and other departments to maintain and improve the PTP system, participating in upgrades and troubleshooting. Ensure timely resolution of outstanding items on vendor statement reconciliations.

This role requires a graduate with 5-8 years of progressive experience in Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes. Strong knowledge of PTP processes, including invoice validation, PO matching, reconciliations, and exception handling, is essential. Proven experience in supervising PTP process delivery and managing vendor relationships, including query resolution, is necessary. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a commercial focus and a strong client service approach, confident in building relationships both internally and externally. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, coupled with a flexible attitude and the capacity to remain calm under pressure, are key attributes. Proficiency in ERP platforms, advanced Microsoft Excel, and reporting skills are required. Demonstrated ability to manage supplier queries, prioritize aging items, and meet agreed service-level requirements is critical for success in this role.
