This Senior Project Consultant role within our Business Consulting PI division, focusing on the Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector, offers a dynamic opportunity. Within Business Consulting, we specialize in reimagining business models, driving growth, managing costs, and resolving complex operational issues. This includes deep expertise in Finance Consulting, Business Transformation, and Supply Chain & Operations, supporting large-scale, multi-year programs.
Lead and mentor a team of Procure-to-Pay (PTP) specialists, overseeing end-to-end delivery including invoice processing, payments, vendor inquiries, and exception resolution. Monitor service performance, maintain effective controls, and analyze AP reports to identify trends and support management decisions.
Drive PTP process oversight from requisition to payment disbursement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and resolve discrepancies. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in audits, provide necessary documentation, and stay updated on accounting best practices. Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and provide timely reports to management.
Serve as an escalation point for complex AP issues, investigating and resolving discrepancies efficiently. Collaborate with IT and other departments to maintain and improve the AP system, participating in system upgrades and troubleshooting.
A graduate with 5-8 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes is required. This includes strong knowledge of invoice validation, PO matching, reconciliations, and exception handling.
Proven experience in supervising PTP process delivery, alongside expertise in invoice and vendor management, including resolving supplier queries, is essential. A self-motivated individual with a commercially focused, client-centric approach and confidence in building internal and external relationships will thrive.
Key attributes include being well-organized with strong prioritization skills, a flexible attitude to achieve results, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in ERP platforms, advanced Microsoft Excel, and reporting skills are necessary. Strong knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and the ability to manage supplier queries while meeting service-level agreements are critical.
