The Senior Project Consultant will be responsible for leading and supervising end-to-end Procure to Pay (PTP) delivery, encompassing invoice processing, payments, vendor queries, reconciliations, and exception resolution. Key duties include mentoring and managing a team of PTP Specialists, ensuring adherence to service performance and control standards.

This role involves overseeing the entire PTP cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments. It also requires identifying and implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders. A critical aspect is ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, as well as participating in audits.

Furthermore, the position entails analyzing accounts payable reports to identify trends, serving as an escalation point for complex issues, and developing effective solutions. Collaboration with IT and other departments for system maintenance and improvements is also a part of the role. The consultant will review and approve vendor statement reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.

Candidates should possess a graduate degree in Commerce or Business Administration with 5-8 years of experience in Procure to Pay (PTP) processes. A strong understanding of invoice validation, PO matching, reconciliations, and exception handling is essential.

Proven experience in supervising PTP process delivery, coupled with expertise in invoice and vendor management, including resolving supplier queries, is required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, commercially focused, possess a strong client service approach, and have confidence in building relationships both internally and externally.

Well-organized with excellent prioritization skills, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are important attributes. Proficiency in ERP platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills are necessary. A deep understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and the ability to manage supplier queries effectively to meet service-level agreements are also crucial.
