As a Senior Product Manager (Technical) on the Kindle Content Experience team, you will be instrumental in creating a superior reading experience. Your work will involve partnering with publishers and authors to refine eBook layouts, typography, and fonts, ensuring a consistent and delightful experience across all Kindle devices and applications.
This position demands a blend of strategic vision and tactical execution. You will drive product roadmaps, influence team strategy, and collaborate with engineering, business, operations, and executive teams to launch impactful features and tools. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, excels in a matrixed environment, and can synthesize complex technologies into user-friendly products.
Drive and deliver an exceptional content experience across all Kindle platforms. Lead diverse, cross-functional teams, including engineering and UX, to ensure on-time project delivery. Define and support the creation of strategic, high-quality product roadmaps informed by thorough internal and external analysis. Leverage customer feedback, behavioral data, and other insights to continuously improve user experiences and prioritize feature development. Engage with global teams to ensure a consistent experience across different regions.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as computer science or engineering. Accumulate at least 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in consumer or enterprise-facing product management. Demonstrate a strong track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects under tight deadlines. Exhibit experience in coordinating product development cycles and managing software development schedules.
