As a Product Manager for Microsoft Defender for Office 365, you will drive end-to-end ownership of a feature area.
Key responsibilities include: - Defining product problems, shaping requirements, and managing the backlog. - Collaborating with engineering and design to ensure successful product execution and measurement. - Contributing to the strategic roadmap and translating product direction into actionable plans. - Engaging directly with customers and partners to gather feedback and inform product decisions. - Establishing and tracking success criteria, utilizing data to drive adoption and quality improvements. - Partnering with marketing, business planning, and customer success for effective release management and post-launch feedback. - Collaborating across the Defender suite with XDR, identity, endpoint, and data teams.
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager with a minimum of 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years specifically in security products for enterprise organizations.
Ideal candidates will possess: - A proven history of successfully shipping and managing software products post-launch. - Strong capabilities in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. - Excellent communication, writing, and presentation abilities. - Genuine customer empathy and a talent for understanding underlying user needs. - A collaborative, confident, independent, curious, and enthusiastic attitude.
Preferred qualifications include a BA/BSc in Computer Science or a related technical field, alongside hands-on experience in email security, threat detection, SOC workflows, or XDR, particularly with deep-tech security products for large enterprises.
