Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for data platform capabilities, driven by customer needs and scalability. Conduct continuous product discovery to identify high-impact problems and validate opportunities. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data Governance, and Analytics to deliver data-as-a-product solutions with clear consumers and quality standards. Define and track product outcomes, success metrics, and OKRs, adapting strategy based on evidence. Translate complex technical concepts into clear product intent for cross-functional teams. Ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance are integral to platform design. Maintain a prioritized backlog balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform evolution. Act as a trusted partner, managing stakeholder expectations and aligning priorities. Communicate product strategy, progress, and risks effectively to leadership.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required, alongside 11+ years of overall industry experience in software development. Possess 8+ years of experience in data governance/management, including implementing or operating a governance program. Experience with US healthcare data, regulated environments, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA is essential. Familiarity with enterprise data offices, hub-and-spoke governance models, cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), and integrating governance into agile delivery is crucial. Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts, data governance fundamentals, and modern data platforms, along with proven cross-functional influence and communication skills, is expected.
