This role focuses on Microsoft Defender Experts (DEX), our premier Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service, offering 24/7 protection powered by advanced AI and unified product platforms.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will deeply understand customer needs in security operations, driving innovative integrations and delivering significant customer value.

Key responsibilities include: - Defining and owning the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for MDR capabilities. - Identifying product gaps and opportunities, prioritizing requirements, and defining success metrics (OKRs). - Collaborating with engineering to build robust, automated solutions leveraging AI and strong security fundamentals. - Applying deep SOC operations expertise and threat landscape awareness for effective detection and response. - Utilizing data analytics and telemetry to drive informed decisions and continuous service improvement. - Leading cross-team collaboration to address broad security challenges across Microsoft Security. - Ensuring operational excellence through disciplined execution, accurate planning, and scalable processes. - Representing the product and service in executive reviews, customer briefings, and external forums.

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.

Essential qualifications include: - At least 4 years of experience in improving product metrics within a market context. - Hands-on experience building security products and possess strong security domain knowledge. - Proven ability to operate at scale within global, high-availability services. - Proficiency in data analytics and metrics skills. - Demonstrated strong leadership and communication abilities, particularly in ambiguous situations. - Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

This full-time hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the office.
