This Senior Platform Software Engineer role focuses on owning and enhancing moderately complex components within platform services and SDKs. The position involves leading team-level improvements to integration frameworks and developer tooling, as well as performing in-depth debugging across distributed services. You will be instrumental in implementing fixes that safeguard downstream consumers and upgrade paths, while also analyzing usage, performance, and error budgets to drive targeted resilience and capacity optimizations. A key aspect of this role is authoring and curating team-scoped documentation, samples, and adoption guidance.

Key responsibilities include owning and evolving bounded platform components, performing deep debugging across limited service graphs, and implementing targeted resilience and capacity patterns. You will design software solutions, adhere to and suggest improvements for the software development lifecycle, and develop new software features following design specifications. This role also involves leading code reviews, conducting debugging and troubleshooting, implementing software testing and quality assurance processes, and performing performance profiling and optimization. Additionally, you will troubleshoot API functionality and integration issues, implement API versioning and lifecycle strategies, and design/develop systems aligned with pre-defined architecture.
