We are seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to take ownership of moderately complex components within our platform services and SDKs. This role involves leading team-level improvements in integration frameworks and developer tooling. You will be responsible for deep debugging across distributed services, implementing fixes to ensure downstream consumer and upgrade path integrity.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing usage, performance, and error budgets for specific platform surfaces, and developing targeted resilience and capacity optimizations. You will also author and curate team-scoped documentation, samples, and adoption guidance, contributing to a robust and user-friendly platform ecosystem.

Own and evolve bounded platform components (service modules, SDK areas) with a focus on multi-tenant use. Perform in-depth debugging across a defined service graph, driving compatibility-safe remediation plans. Implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, providing clear adoption guidance for team consumers. Design and develop software solutions, analyze requirements, and suggest improvements to the software development lifecycle. Lead code reviews and conduct debugging and troubleshooting for moderately complex software issues, developing effective fixes. Implement comprehensive software testing, quality assurance, error logging, monitoring, and observability practices. Conduct performance profiling and optimization, troubleshoot API functionality and integration issues, and implement API versioning strategies.

Demonstrated experience in owning and evolving platform components, including services and SDKs. Proficiency in performing deep debugging across distributed systems and implementing fixes. Strong analytical skills for usage, performance, and error budget analysis, with a focus on resilience and capacity optimizations. Experience in authoring documentation, samples, and adoption guidance. Ability to design software solutions, analyze requirements, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. Experience with code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting complex software issues. Solid understanding of software testing, quality assurance, and observability practices. Skills in performance profiling, optimization, API development, and versioning strategies are essential.
