This position requires a self-starter adept at independent judgment and possessing expertise in their field. Opportunities for project leadership and supervision of junior personnel may arise. A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, is expected in a relevant functional area, alongside a minimum of 4 years in software engineering.

Experience collaborating with large, cross-functional teams is highly valued. A strong technical foundation, ideally with 5-8 years of hands-on experience, is essential. This includes exposure to Java-based development architectures, Linux environments, SQL databases, Software Configuration Management (SCM), and Agile development methodologies.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and debugging software applications and operating systems. You will also be tasked with specifying, designing, and implementing changes to existing software architecture to meet dynamic requirements.

Contribute to defining and developing software for tasks related to the creation, debugging, and design of software applications or operating systems. Provide essential technical leadership to other software developers, guiding them in best practices and project execution.

Develop comprehensive test strategies, scripts, and procedures based on system/application requirement specifications and business needs. Investigate and debug application defects proactively, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Candidates should possess a strong technical background with at least 5-8 years of relevant experience. Expertise in Java-based development architecture, Linux, SQL, SCM, and Agile methodology is highly desirable.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or an MCA, is required. Demonstrable experience in testing frameworks and a solid understanding of multi-tier architecture are essential. Experience in a Java/J2EE environment, debugging backend failures, and API testing tools is also crucial.

Proficiency in black box and white box testing, along with a strong grasp of functional testing methodologies and regression strategy, is expected. Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into automation is a plus. Experience with cloud-based services and container-based deployments using Docker is advantageous. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are necessary, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within a geographically distributed organization.
