Join our team as a Senior Platform Software Engineer and take ownership of critical components within our platform services and SDKs. You will drive team-level enhancements for integration frameworks and developer tooling, ensuring robust solutions and seamless developer experiences.

This role involves in-depth debugging across distributed services, implementing fixes that safeguard downstream consumers and upgrade paths. You'll analyze usage patterns, performance metrics, and error budgets for specific platform areas, deploying targeted optimizations for resilience and capacity. Additionally, you'll author and maintain essential team documentation, samples, and adoption guides.

Key responsibilities include owning and evolving bounded platform components, performing deep debugging across service graphs, and driving compatibility-safe remediation plans. You will implement resilience and capacity patterns, along with providing documentation for team consumers.

In software development, you'll design solutions, identify requirements, and improve all phases of the SDLC. This includes developing new features, leading code reviews, conducting debugging and troubleshooting, and implementing comprehensive software testing and quality assurance processes. You will also exercise judgment in performance profiling and optimization.

For software architecture, you will design and develop systems aligned with pre-defined architectures, understanding best practices and collaborating with leads for architectural alignment. You'll implement performance optimization and scalability strategies.

In issue/defect collaboration, you will understand customer issues, provide technical guidance, coach others, and influence the team for customer satisfaction. You'll also implement customer issue handling and defect processes, investigating complex product maintenance issues.

Regarding practices and standards, you will establish and follow development practices, ensure code quality, stay updated on industry best practices, and implement secure coding to prevent vulnerabilities.
