Seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to take ownership of intricate components within platform services and SDKs. This role involves leading team-level enhancements for integration frameworks and developer tooling. Responsibilities include in-depth debugging across distributed services, implementing fixes to ensure downstream consumer and upgrade path stability, and analyzing usage, performance, and error budgets for targeted resilience and capacity improvements. The engineer will also author and curate team-scoped documentation, samples, and adoption guidance.

Own and evolve bounded platform components (service modules, SDK areas) for multi-tenant environments. Perform deep debugging across limited-service graphs, creating compatibility-safe remediation plans. Implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, documenting adoption guidance for team consumers. Design software solutions, analyzing requirements to meet business and operational goals. Adhere to and suggest improvements across the entire software development lifecycle. Develop new software features and enhancements, clarifying design and code through documentation. Lead code reviews to drive improvements in designated areas. Debug and troubleshoot moderately complex software issues, developing and implementing fixes. Conduct functional and non-functional testing, implementing quality assurance processes, error logging, monitoring, and observability. Profile and optimize code performance using sound judgment and discretion. Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex issues related to API functionality and integration. Implement moderately complex API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies. Design and develop software, systems, and services aligned with pre-defined architecture. Develop working knowledge of software architecture decisions and best practices. Collaborate with team leads to ensure alignment with software architecture. Implement moderately complex performance optimization and scalability strategies in software design. Collaborate across teams to understand customer issues and align solutions.
