We are seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to take ownership of moderately complex components within our platform services and SDKs.

This role involves leading team-level enhancements to integration frameworks and developer tooling. You will conduct deep debugging across distributed services, implementing fixes to ensure downstream consumer and upgrade path stability.

Analysis of usage, performance, and error budgets for specific platform surfaces is key, leading to targeted resilience and capacity optimizations. Authorship and curation of team-scoped documentation, samples, and adoption guidance are also expected.

As a Platform Software Engineer, you will:

- Own and evolve a bounded platform component (service module, SDK area), including its contracts for multi-tenant use. - Conduct deep debugging across a limited-service graph and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans. - Implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, documenting adoption guidance for team consumers. - Design software solutions and analyze requirements to meet business and operational goals independently. - Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and suggest improvements. - Develop new software features and enhancements, documenting software design and code. - Lead code reviews and conduct debugging and troubleshooting to fix moderately complex software issues. - Implement software testing, quality assurance processes, and error logging for effective debugging. - Perform performance profiling and optimization, troubleshooting API functionality and integration issues. - Implement API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
