As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you will: - Architect, develop, and maintain robust platform services, APIs, and user-facing features. - Take ownership of components, ensuring seamless integration and a reliable user experience. - Enhance operational guidance and feedback mechanisms, thoughtfully incorporating AI. - Troubleshoot production issues, pinpoint root causes, and implement lasting solutions. - Leverage service metrics and user feedback to boost performance and resilience. - Automate operational tasks, reducing manual effort. - Actively participate in design discussions, code reviews, documentation, and cross-team technical guidance.

We are seeking candidates with: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and operating backend services or distributed systems. - A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Proficient programming, API design, testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting skills. - Familiarity with cloud services, distributed architectures, observability, and operational automation. - Experience with modern development practices like code review, CI/CD, and service ownership. - The ability to make informed technical decisions in complex situations and collaborate effectively across teams. - Experience with Java or another modern backend language; knowledge of REST APIs, databases, and containerized services is advantageous. - Experience building, integrating, or operating AI-enabled applications or developer tools is preferred. Familiarity with LLM application patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, agents, and evaluations is a plus. Knowledge of AI security, privacy, observability, and cost management is also valuable.
