Join our team as a Senior Platform Software Engineer and take ownership of critical components within our platform services and SDKs. You will be instrumental in enhancing integration frameworks and developer tooling, leading team-level improvements. This role involves in-depth debugging across complex distributed systems, ensuring robust fixes that safeguard downstream consumers and facilitate smooth upgrade paths. Analyze usage, performance, and error budgets to implement targeted resilience and capacity optimizations. You will also contribute by authoring and curating essential team documentation, samples, and adoption guidance.

Key responsibilities include owning and evolving bounded platform components for multi-tenant use, performing deep debugging across limited-service graphs, and driving compatibility-safe remediation plans. You will implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, along with documenting adoption guidance for consumers. This role also involves designing software solutions, analyzing requirements to meet business goals, and adhering to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. You will develop new software features, conduct code reviews, debug and fix moderately complex issues, and implement robust testing and observability for effective debugging.

We are looking for individuals who can design and develop software systems aligned with pre-defined architecture, gaining a working knowledge of software architecture decisions and best practices. Collaboration with team leads to ensure alignment with software architecture is crucial. You will implement performance optimization and scalability strategies, and collaborate internally and externally to understand customer issues and align solutions. Providing technical guidance to customers and mentoring others to advocate for their interests is also part of this role. Additionally, you will collaborate to establish and follow development practices, coding standards, and implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities. This position requires independent management of work, monitoring timelines, and proactively prioritizing tasks.
