We are seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to take ownership of complex components within platform services and SDKs. This role involves leading team-level enhancements for integration frameworks and developer tooling.

You will be instrumental in performing in-depth debugging across a defined set of distributed services, ensuring fixes protect downstream consumers and upgrade paths. Analyzing usage, performance, and error budgets for specific platform areas will be key, leading to targeted resilience and capacity optimizations.

This position also requires authoring and maintaining team-scoped documentation, samples, and adoption guidance, fostering a collaborative and informed development environment.

Key responsibilities include owning platform components and evolving their contracts for multi-tenant use, performing deep debugging across limited service graphs, and driving compatibility-safe remediation plans. You will implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, along with documenting adoption guidance for team consumers.

This role also encompasses designing software solutions, analyzing requirements, and contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will lead code reviews, conduct debugging and troubleshooting for moderately complex issues, and implement comprehensive software testing and quality assurance processes.

Further responsibilities involve exercises of judgment for performance profiling and optimization, troubleshooting API functionality and integration, and implementing API versioning and lifecycle strategies. You will also design and develop software systems aligned with pre-defined architecture and implement performance optimization and scalability strategies.

This role demands ownership of moderately complex components within platform services or SDKs, coupled with leading team-level improvements to integration frameworks and developer tooling. A strong ability to perform deep debugging across a bounded set of distributed services is essential, driving fixes that protect downstream consumers and upgrade paths.
