Join our dynamic team as a Senior Platform Software Engineer, where you'll take ownership of critical components within platform services and SDKs. You will drive team-level enhancements for integration frameworks and developer tooling, while performing in-depth debugging across distributed services to ensure stability for downstream consumers. Analyze usage, performance, and error budgets to implement targeted optimizations for resilience and capacity, and author essential documentation, samples, and adoption guides for the team.

Key responsibilities include owning and evolving bounded platform components (service modules, SDK areas) for multi-tenant environments. You'll conduct deep debugging across limited service graphs, developing compatibility-safe remediation plans. Implement targeted resilience and capacity patterns, providing clear adoption guidance to team consumers. Design software solutions, analyze requirements, and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including suggesting improvements. Develop new features and enhancements, create design documentation, and lead code reviews. Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex software issues, conduct performance profiling, and optimize code. You will also implement API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.

Further responsibilities involve designing and developing software, systems, and services aligned with pre-defined architecture, gaining working knowledge of best practices. Collaborate with team leads to ensure alignment and implement performance optimization and scalability strategies. Work across teams to understand customer issues, provide technical guidance, and mentor others on advocating for customer interests. Influence the team to ensure customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and communication. Implement customer issue handling and training processes, and investigate complex product maintenance issues to ensure agreement on solutions.

Additionally, collaborate to establish and adhere to development practices and coding standards, ensuring code quality and adherence to acceptance criteria. Stay current with industry best practices and implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities. Perform periodic system maintenance and testing, driving improvements, automation, and debugging to ensure service availability, health, and reliability.

This role requires independent management of work, including monitoring timelines and deliverables to ensure projects meet requirements. You'll proactively prioritize tasks and adapt to resource or timeline shifts. Collaboration across teams is key to aligning expectations and achieving shared objectives.
