As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you will own and evolve platform components (service modules, SDK areas), ensuring their contracts support multi-tenant usage. You'll conduct deep debugging across a defined service graph and develop compatibility-safe remediation plans. Implementing targeted resilience and capacity patterns, along with documenting adoption guidance for team consumers, will be key.

You will also design software solutions, analyze requirements, and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, suggesting improvements. Developing new features, enhancements, and clarifying software designs will be part of your remit. Leading code reviews, conducting debugging and troubleshooting for moderately complex issues, and implementing robust software testing, quality assurance, and observability practices are essential.

Further responsibilities include performance profiling and optimization, troubleshooting API functionality and integration issues, and implementing API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies. You will design and develop software systems aligned with architectural guidelines, staying current with architectural decisions and best practices. Collaboration with team leads to ensure architectural alignment and implementing performance optimization and scalability strategies are also core duties.
