As a Senior Database Platform Engineer, you will architect, engineer, and administer enterprise database platforms, ensuring their security, scalability, and resilience. You will establish best practices, governance frameworks, and operational procedures while driving platform modernization through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD integration.

Key responsibilities include designing and supporting highly available database infrastructure, developing automation for provisioning and maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align database services with business objectives. You will also lead troubleshooting, performance analysis, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives, while ensuring strict adherence to security and regulatory standards. This role involves supporting diverse database technologies across hybrid and cloud environments, and evaluating emerging technologies for platform enhancement.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with advanced expertise in database engineering and operations for Oracle Exadata/RAC, Redis, and PostgreSQL within large-scale enterprises. A strong understanding of database architecture, resiliency, performance tuning, security, and data governance is essential.

Candidates should possess robust knowledge of platform engineering principles, including cloud infrastructure, IaC (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and CI/CD practices. Experience supporting modern application platforms with automation at scale, understanding distributed systems and microservices, and establishing engineering standards is crucial.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills are required to influence technical direction and mentor other engineers. The ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot effectively, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions is also key.
