This role focuses on building and automating secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud platforms for mission-critical applications, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Design, construct, and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure for production and development environments. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, creating reusable modules and enforcing best practices. Build, operate, and optimize Amazon EKS Kubernetes platforms for containerized applications and construct hardened Linux machine images using HashiCorp Packer. Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks via CI/CD pipelines, while implementing AWS security best practices and monitoring platform health. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, develop automation tools with Python, Go, or Bash, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions. Create comprehensive technical documentation and architectural diagrams.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates must possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying AWS infrastructure using Terraform, along with demonstrated success in developing reusable Terraform modules for enterprise environments. Significant experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), building and operating Amazon EKS or Kubernetes platforms, and administering Amazon Linux and Ubuntu Linux is essential. Familiarity with building machine images using HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions or Jenkins is expected. A strong grasp of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, Route 53, storage, and security best practices is crucial. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana, coupled with programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash, is necessary. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities are vital for this role. On-call rotation participation is required.
