The Infrastructure Engineering team seeks a Senior Platform Architect to spearhead the design and advancement of secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise infrastructure platforms essential for Mastercard's critical business services. This role is ideal for a strategic technology leader with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, and cloud technologies, who is passionate about solving complex technical challenges and driving innovation.

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Collaborate with Engineering, Network, Security, Cloud, Database, Middleware, Product, and Program Management teams to create infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technology strategies.

Drive the end-to-end infrastructure solution delivery process, from initial business engagement through architecture reviews, financial approvals, procurement, implementation, and production deployment.

Design resilient networking, application delivery, and security architectures using enterprise technologies such as load balancing, web application firewalls, API gateways, and distributed infrastructure.

Spearhead infrastructure modernization initiatives focusing on automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), platform standardization, performance enhancement, resiliency, and operational excellence.

Develop enterprise architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and infrastructure documentation, while also mentoring engineering teams and promoting best practices.

Possess 5-9 years of overall career experience in a relevant technology role.

Demonstrate deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure architecture across data center, hybrid cloud, and distributed computing environments.

Exhibit advanced knowledge of enterprise networking, application delivery, and infrastructure security, including Zero Trust principles and modern network architectures.

Have experience designing and supporting enterprise platforms utilizing VMware, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), load balancing, web application firewalls, API gateways, and distributed infrastructure.

Show strong expertise in infrastructure automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD integration, and configuration management using tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.

Communicate and present technical information effectively, with the ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.
