Key responsibilities include generating high-level system requirements, ensuring their consistency, completeness, and operational definition. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining critical documentation such as TADs, technical documents, logical flows, and models.

This role involves resolving internet architectural and operational issues that impact global infrastructure performance and availability. A significant part includes researching and evaluating new technologies for potential deployment within Mastercard's internet infrastructure.

Additionally, you will manage and support internet infrastructure components, perform problem diagnosis, performance tuning, capacity planning, and configuration management, all while assuring system stability and future compatibility through production monitoring.

A solid foundation in internet fundamentals, including web servers, application servers, internet security, and related technologies, is essential. You should possess thorough knowledge of network and operating system principles, web middleware, and expertise in core internet infrastructure design or web administration functions.

Advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls is required, complemented by working knowledge of database and cloud technologies. Candidates should be high-energy, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently under pressure with strong initiative and self-motivation.
