As a Senior Platform Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our infrastructure. This role is crucial for analyzing and designing robust infrastructure frameworks that align with MasterCard's stringent operational standards and principles, ensuring seamless integration with application, platform, and system needs.

You will collaborate with application teams and critical stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure and application architecture adheres to MasterCard’s high standards for security, scalability, and availability. A key deliverable is the Technical Architecture Document (TAD), detailing comprehensive infrastructure designs. Your responsibilities will include generating requirements, producing technical documents, logical flows, and models, and maintaining architectural product currency.

This role involves resolving global internet architectural and operational issues impacting infrastructure and product performance, researching new technologies for deployment, and potentially leading regional projects. You will implement, manage, and support internet infrastructure components, performing diagnostics, tuning, capacity planning, and configuration management to ensure system stability and future compatibility.

We seek an individual with a strong foundation in internet fundamentals, including web servers, application servers, and internet security. Expertise in designing and delivering internet infrastructure solutions that meet diverse requirements is essential.

Ideal candidates possess thorough knowledge of network and operating system principles, web middleware, and core internet infrastructure design or web administration functions. Advanced understanding of load balancers and web application firewalls, along with working knowledge of database and cloud technologies, is required.
