Collaborate with Physical Design Implementation teams to understand intricate problems and develop agentic AI solutions for all product lines. Deliver high-quality, token-optimized AI solutions with consistent performance. Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for deployed AI solutions. Conduct benchmarking across various AI models to assess and enhance their effectiveness. Innovate and research novel AI methodologies to address emerging physical design challenges. Develop robust regression testbenches to validate the quality, reliability, and performance of AI solutions.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Physical Design is required, coupled with a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech degree or equivalent experience. A strong grasp of the RTL-to-GDSII flow and design implementation in leading process technologies, including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, timing convergence, and layout closure, is essential. Familiarity with AI concepts like tokens, KV cache, context windows, agents, subagents, and hooks is expected. Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor, alongside standard place-and-route flows, is necessary. Proficiency in automation scripting using Tcl and Python for industry-leading place-and-route tools is crucial. The ability to multitask effectively in a global setting, excellent communication, strong motivation, and robust analytical and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this role.
