Key responsibilities include administering and supporting Oracle databases on Exadata and RAC/ASM environments, with a strong focus on troubleshooting performance, availability, and recovery issues.

You will manage database upgrades, migrations, installations, and patching, alongside RMAN backup/recovery and Data Guard configurations. Proactive performance analysis and timely resolution of critical production incidents are essential.

Collaboration with customers and global engineering teams across time zones is vital. Maintaining high standards of availability, reliability, customer satisfaction, and engineering quality will be your primary focus.

A minimum of 6–10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA or Database Engineer supporting enterprise production environments is required. You should possess strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, Exadata architecture, Oracle RAC, and ASM.

Advanced skills in Oracle Database Performance Tuning, Data Guard (including Physical Standby, Active Data Guard, and Broker), and RMAN Backup, Restore & Recovery are mandatory. Experience with database installation, upgrades, migrations, and patching is also crucial.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong customer-facing and service/support mindset, and the ability to work in shifts and weekends are essential for this role. Candidates must be proficient in English.
