Key responsibilities include administering and supporting Oracle databases on Exadata and RAC/ASM platforms. You will troubleshoot performance, availability, backup, recovery, and Data Guard issues. The role also involves performing database upgrades, migrations, installations, and patching. Additionally, you'll manage RMAN backup/recovery and Data Guard environments, conduct performance analysis, and handle critical production incidents.

Collaboration with customers and global engineering teams across different time zones is essential. Maintaining high standards of availability, reliability, customer satisfaction, and engineering quality is paramount.

We are seeking candidates with 6–10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration and Exadata architecture. A strong command of Oracle RAC, ASM, performance tuning, and RMAN backup/restore/recovery is essential. Experience with Data Guard (Physical Standby, Active Data Guard, Broker) is required. The ability to diagnose and resolve complex production incidents under pressure, along with excellent communication and customer-facing skills, is necessary.

Willingness to work in shifts and weekends is expected. While not mandatory, skills in Oracle GoldenGate, ZDLRA, and logical Data Guard are beneficial. Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
