NVIDIA is seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to maintain and support our expansive cloud network infrastructure. This critical network underpins NVIDIA's entire software stack, from graphics drivers to AI and autonomous vehicle technologies.

The role involves resolving urgent alerts within service level agreements, triaging production-impacting network incidents, and liaising with internal clients on network-related matters. Collaboration with external vendors for hardware and software issue resolution, alongside participation in network upgrade and capacity expansion projects, will also be key.

An ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set, including expertise in monitoring and resolving alerts in large-scale networks and cloud service provider environments. Strong troubleshooting acumen, a solid understanding of L3 underlay networks, and proficiency in network protocols within complex, multi-vendor infrastructures are essential.

Engage in 24/7 global shift rotations to provide remote support for network repairs and changes, fostering collaboration across teams and keeping customers informed of status and ticket details.

Drive operational enhancements in change management and daily operations by adhering to established procedures.

Manage and operate large-scale IP network technologies and infrastructures.

Utilize expertise in Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies, including PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, and Wave circuits.

Monitor and ensure the health of on-premises and cloud network infrastructures.

Collaborate on workflow enhancements and document best practices.

Possess deep knowledge and practical experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPsec, DNS, and MACsec.

Demonstrate over 4 years of experience in network operations.

Exhibit strong network troubleshooting techniques and creative problem-solving abilities.

Maintain a proven track record in timely alert response within SLAs and effective incident management.

Have experience with at least one of the following CSP environments: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.

Be familiar with network hardware and software from Arista, Fortinet, and Juniper.

Show hands-on experience in contributing to tooling and automation for provisioning, monitoring, and managing complex network infrastructures.

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
