As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our multi-site network communication environment. Responsibilities include managing and implementing network projects, developing detailed requirements for device upgrades, and troubleshooting complex operational issues.

You will actively participate in network device upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions. The role involves planning, managing resources, and executing changes, often outside standard hours, while identifying and mitigating project risks. Effective cross-team collaboration, engagement with change processes, and vendor management are key.

Additional duties include identifying service improvement opportunities to optimize network performance, conducting baseline checks on new hardware for compliance and security, and sharing knowledge with peers. This role supports a 24x7 global network and may involve occasional travel.

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with 3-5 years of comprehensive IT experience, focusing on Networking (LAN/WAN), Firewalls, Security/Encryption, and Load Balancing. A strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and broad knowledge of Cisco's product portfolio are essential.

Candidates should possess expertise in Network diagnostics, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, and MPLS technologies. Experience working within a heavily regulated environment, such as DSS/PCI compliance, is required. A current CCNP certification or equivalent experience is highly valued.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, be self-starters with excellent listening abilities, and act as mentors to junior team members.
