Join AI2NO Org as a Senior Network Developer, playing a pivotal role in advancing global leaders in RDMA cluster networking. We are dedicated to enabling seamless, accelerated High-Performance Compute (HPC), Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Our vision is to be a pioneering force in developing state-of-the-art RDMA clusters specifically for AI, ML, and HPC workloads, pushing the boundaries of computational capabilities.
This role is integral to the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will focus on the development and support of our network fabric and systems, leveraging deep protocol-level networking expertise and strong programming skills. This position involves supporting a global cloud network with hundreds of thousands of devices connected across dedicated backbone infrastructure, CLos Networks, and the internet.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with program managers on milestones and deliverables. You will develop and execute network changes, often creating new procedures and tools as needed.
A core aspect of this role involves developing solutions to empower front-line support teams in managing network failures. You will also mentor junior engineers and actively participate in network solution and architecture design, contributing to roadmap development.
This position requires participation in operational rotations, providing break-fix support, and serving as an escalation point for issue remediation, including leading post-event root cause analysis. You will frequently develop scripts for task automation and coordinate with networking automation services for tooling integration.
Additionally, you will work with network monitoring teams to gather telemetry, create alert rules, and build dashboards for issue identification. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network automation and monitoring software development projects is crucial. Collaboration with network vendors and internal Quality Assurance teams to resolve bugs and qualify new firmware/operating systems is also expected.
While primarily using existing procedures, there's an opportunity to innovate and develop new ones. You'll be instrumental in creating solutions that enable support teams to effectively handle network failure conditions.
Mentoring junior engineers is a key expectation, alongside active participation in the network solution and architecture design processes and contributing to strategic roadmaps. The role demands engagement in operational rotations, offering break-fix support, and acting as the primary escalation point for event remediation, including leading root cause analysis.
Expect to frequently develop scripts to automate routine tasks for both the team and business units. Collaboration with networking automation services for the development and integration of support tooling is vital. Furthermore, you'll coordinate with network monitoring to collect telemetry, establish alert rules, and construct dashboards to visualize network data and identify anomalies.
This role requires you to be an SME for software development projects focused on network automation and monitoring. Strong collaboration with network vendor technical account teams and internal Quality Assurance is necessary to drive bug resolution and assist in the qualification of new firmware and operating systems.
