This role supports the global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) design, deployment, and operations. Focus on network fabric and systems development and support, combining deep protocol-level networking knowledge with programming expertise. You will manage a vast global network supporting millions of servers.

Collaborate on project milestones and deliverables. Develop and execute network changes using existing tools, creating new procedures as needed. Design solutions for front-line support teams to manage network failures. Mentor junior engineering staff. Contribute to network solution architecture and roadmap development. Participate in operational rotations and provide break-fix support. Lead post-event root cause analysis and serve as an escalation point. Automate routine tasks through script development. Coordinate with network automation services for tooling integration. Implement network monitoring, telemetry, and alert rules. Build dashboards to visualize network data and identify issues. Act as a subject matter expert for network automation and monitoring projects. Collaborate with vendors and QA teams to resolve bugs and qualify firmware/OS.

Strong understanding of networking at the protocol level. Proficiency in programming for network systems. Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Familiarity with RDMA, HPC, AI, and ML workloads. Ability to develop scripts for task automation. Experience with network monitoring and telemetry. Skills in building data visualization dashboards. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors. Experience in mentoring junior engineers and leading root cause analysis.
