This position focuses on supporting and developing a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) network. You will dive deep into network fabric and systems, leveraging profound understanding of networking protocols and strong programming abilities. Your work will span a vast cloud network with hundreds of thousands of devices and millions of servers, connecting via dedicated backbones, CLos Networks, and the internet.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with project managers on milestones and deliverables, developing and executing network changes using existing or new procedures.

You will create solutions for front-line support to manage network failures and mentor junior engineers. Contribution to network architecture design and roadmap development is essential.

This role involves operational rotations, break-fix support, and leading post-event root cause analysis. You'll frequently develop scripts for task automation and coordinate with automation and monitoring services. Building dashboards for issue identification and serving as a subject matter expert on software development projects for network automation and monitoring are critical tasks. Close collaboration with network vendors and internal QA for bug resolution and firmware/OS qualification is also expected.
