Manage and maintain MS SQL Server databases, ensuring peak performance, high availability, and robust security.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot database servers and related processes.

Engage in performance tuning to optimize database operations.

Plan, deploy, and maintain high-availability solutions such as Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, and Replication.

Analyze and resolve issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.

Refine and automate regular processes to enhance efficiency and optimize costs. Document all changes thoroughly.

Collaborate effectively with end customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

A minimum of 10 to 12 years of extensive experience managing MS SQL Server databases is required.

Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain database servers and processes, including system health and performance monitoring for optimal availability and security.

Proven track record in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Expertise in planning, deploying, and maintaining high-availability database environments (e.g., Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, Replication).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently resolve issues end-to-end in real-time.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently and lead team efforts, while effectively multitasking and context-switching. A solid ITIL foundation, with experience in Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management, is essential.
