Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining MS SQL Server database servers and processes, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security through diligent monitoring. You will be instrumental in database performance tuning and planning, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-availability solutions like Always-On, Clustering, and Mirroring. Addressing and resolving issues in real-time, automating regular processes, and documenting changes for efficiency are also critical aspects of this role.

A minimum of 6 years of experience managing MS SQL Server databases is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to independently diagnose and resolve issues. Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously and lead team efforts. The ability to multitask and switch contexts effectively between various activities and teams is crucial. A solid foundation in ITIL principles, Continual Service Improvement, and Total Quality Management is highly valued.
