Seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of sophisticated infrastructure solutions for large-scale Core Banking System (CBS) migration and modernization initiatives within the BFSI sector. This pivotal role focuses on establishing scalable, resilient, and high-performance infrastructure environments critical for mission-critical banking systems. Emphasis is placed on ensuring high availability, strict regulatory compliance, and a seamless transition from legacy platforms.

We are looking for an infrastructure expert with a forward-thinking approach, extensive experience in designing resilient, scalable banking infrastructure, and the capability to manage complex CBS migration programs. The ideal candidate will excel at balancing performance, availability, and compliance within high-stakes, large-scale transformation projects.

Develop and recommend future-ready, scalable architecture solutions by assessing existing infrastructure. Design infrastructure for CBS migration and modernization, prioritizing performance, scalability, and resilience, while aligning with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct benchmarking, sizing, and capacity planning for high-volume Core Banking environments. Optimize throughput, response time, and transaction performance to ensure infrastructure readiness for peak loads and business growth.

Design and implement fault-tolerant architectures and high-availability systems, defining cross-site replication strategies. Establish robust disaster recovery frameworks to ensure business continuity.

Oversee infrastructure readiness for CBS migration, including environment setup, validation, and readiness checks. Collaborate with technical and application teams to facilitate smooth migration and cutover activities, minimizing downtime.

Ensure strict adherence to security standards, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements. Implement infrastructure-level security controls and compliance frameworks, supporting risk assessments and mitigation planning.

A minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design is mandatory. Proven track record of leading at least one large-scale Core Technical / Application / Database / Infrastructure transformation or revamp program is essential.

Demonstrated experience working in high-volume, mission-critical environments is required. Prior exposure to the BFSI sector is preferred, along with experience in Core Banking Systems (CBS) like TCS BaNCS or similar OEM platforms, and previous involvement in CBS migration, modernization, or transformation initiatives.

Essential skills include a strong domain knowledge across servers, virtualization, databases, operating systems, hardware, and storage technologies. Proficiency in Infrastructure Architecture & Design, Hardware & Platform Evaluation, Capacity Planning & Benchmarking, High Availability & Disaster Recovery, and Cross-Site Replication Strategies is vital. A deep understanding of the Banking Infrastructure Ecosystem is also expected.
