Seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Architect to spearhead the design, evaluation, and implementation of robust infrastructure solutions for large-scale Core Banking System (CBS) migration and modernization within the BFSI sector. This critical role focuses on building scalable, resilient, and high-performance environments to support vital banking systems, ensuring top-tier availability, regulatory adherence, and a smooth transition from legacy platforms.

Responsibilities include assessing current infrastructure, recommending future-proof architectures, and ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and resilience. You will be instrumental in capacity planning, performance tuning, and designing high-availability and fault-tolerant systems to meet stringent demands.

Lead infrastructure strategy and architecture, assessing existing landscapes and designing scalable solutions for CBS migration and modernization.

Drive capacity planning and performance optimization for high-volume Core Banking environments, ensuring readiness for peak loads.

Design and implement high-availability and resilience strategies, including fault-tolerant architectures and cross-site replication.

Ensure infrastructure readiness for CBS migration, collaborating with technical teams for seamless cutover.

Uphold security standards, regulatory guidelines, and compliance frameworks, supporting risk assessments.

Collaborate with PMO, Technical Leaders, OEMs, and vendors, providing expertise on governance and best practices.

A minimum of 12 years in infrastructure architecture and design is mandatory, with proven experience leading significant Core Technical, Application, Database, or Infrastructure transformation programs.

Must have prior experience in high-volume, mission-critical environments. Exposure to the BFSI sector is preferred, alongside experience with Core Banking Systems (CBS) like TCS BaNCS or similar platforms, and prior involvement in CBS migration or modernization initiatives.

Essential skills encompass a strong understanding of servers, virtualization, databases, operating systems, hardware, and storage technologies, alongside expertise in Infrastructure Architecture & Design, Hardware & Platform Evaluation, Capacity Planning & Benchmarking, High Availability & Disaster Recovery, and Cross-Site Replication Strategies.
