Lead comprehensive Quality Engineering initiatives, particularly within the BFSI domain, overseeing large, geographically dispersed teams with a balanced onshore-offshore model. You will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies, plans, and execution for data pipelines and analytics platforms. Key duties include managing QE teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and maintaining delivery governance. A significant part of this role involves driving process improvements to enhance quality, optimize costs, and meet timelines. Strong governance, executive communication, and client engagement are crucial, as is supporting RFPs and RFIs by articulating QE strategies and value propositions. Collaboration with development and data engineering teams for defect resolution, providing accurate testing estimations, and leading a team of SDETs, QE engineers, and manual testers to foster an automation-first culture are also core responsibilities.
Drive continuous improvement through test metrics, root cause analysis, defect leakage trends, and QE process optimization. Support proposal development and stakeholder presentations by clearly communicating QE capability maturity, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes such as KPIs, ROI, and coverage.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality Engineering is required, with a strong emphasis on both automation and manual testing methodologies and the management of large-scale QE programs. Experience in the BFSI, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets domain is essential, with prior exposure to Enterprise Risk platforms, data governance, or regulatory workflows being highly advantageous.
Proven ability to mentor and scale QE teams, establish best practices, and effectively manage client expectations is critical. Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement across various roles, including BAs, Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Leads, are necessary. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are paramount for success in this role.
