This Senior Manager role within the EY Finance Consulting team focuses on driving performance improvement for clients by assessing and optimizing finance processes. You will work on techno-functional initiatives, analyzing pain points and developing innovative solutions for a diverse international client base.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead large-scale finance transformation projects, guiding CFOs in modernizing operating models, processes, systems, and capabilities. It blends strategic advisory with hands-on delivery, alongside practice growth and talent development.

Lead comprehensive finance transformation programs, encompassing operating model design, Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. Spearhead finance shared services/Global Business Services (GBS) initiatives, alongside driving finance digitalization, automation, and advanced analytics. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior finance leaders, overseeing multi-workstream engagements to ensure scope, timeline, budget, and quality. Translate strategic business objectives into actionable finance transformation roadmaps and compelling business cases, managing complex stakeholder environments with a focus on delivery excellence.

Drive the implementation and enhancement of finance systems such as SAP S/4HANA Finance, Oracle, Workday, and BlackLine. Champion the adoption of digital finance solutions, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless integration with technology and data teams.

Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies, thought leadership content, and compelling proposals for significant finance transformation deals. Lead pursuit teams and cultivate client accounts through cross-service collaboration. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current finance, accounting, and technology trends impacting the CFO agenda.

Mentor and develop high-performing teams across various engagements. Lead performance management, staffing, and capability-building initiatives within the practice. Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance organizational culture.

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required, with an MBA or relevant master’s degree being preferred. Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.

Candidates should possess 10–15 years of experience in consulting or industry finance roles, with a significant emphasis on finance transformation. Proven success in leading large, complex transformation programs within a consulting setting is essential. A deep understanding of core finance processes and the strategic priorities of CFOs is critical. Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are paramount. Experience in managing teams and fostering the development of future leaders is also a key requirement. Flexibility for travel as needed is expected.
