Join our Global Communications & Public Affairs team as a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications for India. You will be instrumental in shaping Google's corporate narrative in a dynamic market, driving business impact, and proactively managing reputational risks.
This role involves developing and executing innovative communication strategies, building strong external agency partnerships, and fostering alliances with influential stakeholders. You'll work closely with cross-functional leadership to leverage communications as a strategic advantage for Google and ensure our brand resonates effectively.
Direct and expertly manage issue resolution and crisis communications to safeguard Google's reputation. Engage with community organizations and key opinion leaders to enhance public perception and integrate external perspectives. Lead the creation and implementation of integrated communications plans, ensuring messaging accurately reflects Google's viewpoint. Oversee agency partners for significant initiatives, defining strategies, setting objectives, and tracking performance. Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for team members.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Demonstrate 14 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications.
Preferred qualifications include 3 years of people management or team leadership experience, expertise in communications principles, crisis management, and understanding both traditional and emerging communication channels.
Proven ability to advise executives, manage internal/external stakeholder relationships, maintain composure in fast-paced environments, and adapt quickly.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with executives and leadership teams are essential.
