You will proactively manage reputational risks and secure our long-term license to operate by collaborating with agency partners, cultivating stakeholder alliances, and empowering an internal team.

This position involves explaining complex issues through compelling written and verbal communication, including blog posts, FAQs, and video scripts. Success requires strong collaboration with PR, Communications, Marketing, and Product teams.

Lead strategic corporate communications initiatives in India, focusing on driving business impact and enhancing Google's reputation.

Manage high-stakes communications during crisis situations and direct issues management programs.

Engage with community organizations and key opinion formers to strengthen Google's public image.

Develop and execute integrated communications plans, ensuring impactful messaging that aligns with Google's perspective.

Oversee external agency partners for critical programs, defining strategy, objectives, and performance metrics.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for team members.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess 14 years of comprehensive experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.

Demonstrated experience of 3 years in people management, supervision, or team leadership.

Proficiency in communications principles, crisis management, various communication channels, and emerging communication trends.

Proven ability to advise executives and effectively manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Capacity to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments, adapting quickly and escalating issues appropriately.
