Establish and uphold best practices in service reliability, automation, observability, and operational readiness.

Mentor and develop engineers through coaching and career advancement.

Manage roadmap planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.

Oversee teams operating large-scale, highly available systems, focusing on resilience and performance.

Champion Agile development and foster continuous improvement and ownership.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Possess at least 12 years of overall professional experience, including 2+ years in engineering management and 5+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, alongside a deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, networking, operating systems, and service-oriented architectures.

Experience building and operating highly available, cloud-native services is essential, as is strong knowledge of databases, storage systems, and distributed persistence technologies.

Proven ability to drive operational excellence, observability, performance tuning, and incident response is critical.
