This role centers on leveraging deep techno-functional expertise to drive transformation within the record-to-report (R2R) areas, often without direct technology implementation. You will act as a transformation lead, not a PMO, focusing on holistic process improvements.

Key responsibilities include: - Providing subject matter expertise and leading delivery teams in R2R transformation and implementation across critical areas such as Revenue Recognition, Accruals, Intercompany reconciliation, Manual Journal Entries & Automation, Asset Accounting, Chart of Accounts, Account Reconciliation, Sub-ledger Accounting, Consolidation, Financial Statement Production, and Cost Accounting. - Utilizing deep techno-functional knowledge of leading ERP solutions like SAP FI/CO/COPA, SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting, Oracle Fusion Financials, and their integration with AI-based technologies. Experience designing AI solutions for R2R on SAP platforms is highly valued. - Leading engagement teams in understanding client challenges and formulating innovative solutions, as well as contributing to proposal development and business development efforts. This involves collaborating across service lines and market teams to secure new business and enhance client relationships. - Leading internal capability development, conducting training sessions, and coaching teams. You will also manage a team of 5-8 managers or below, focusing on their development through coaching, motivation, and guided training, including career path discussions. - Demonstrating strong business development, solution conceptualization, and project management skills. A flexible work attitude, proven ability to lead diverse teams, strong collaboration, and the capacity to comprehend complexity quickly are essential.

To excel in this role, you will possess extensive consulting experience, specifically 8-10 years in record-to-report transformation, distinct from industry user experience. A strong academic background is essential, with qualifications such as CA, MBA (Finance) with a Commerce Background, CWA, CMA, CFA, or M.Com.

We seek individuals with profound techno-functional knowledge in R2R processes and ERP systems like SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO/COPA, SAP Central Finance, Oracle Fusion Finance, and Oracle Netsuite. Familiarity with digital finance solutions such as Blackline, Trintech, High Radius, and various RPA solutions is also beneficial.

An understanding of AI/ML/Gen-AI and Analytics solutions within the finance domain, particularly in R2R, is crucial. Expertise in consolidation, reporting, inter-company, and ERP data structures is required, along with practical experience in current and future state analysis, process optimization, data analytics, and data management.

Candidates should exhibit strong business development acumen, exceptional solution conceptualization and ideation skills, and robust project management capabilities. Excellent written and oral communication skills are paramount. A flexible approach to work, proven ability to lead diverse teams across geographies, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and apply solutions are key attributes. Comfort with ambiguity, entrepreneurial drive, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under stress are also vital. Willingness to travel extensively at short notice is expected.
