This position is part of National Assurance, a sector-agnostic team offering diverse industry experience. Within the ASU - FAAS - Financial&AccountingAdv unit, you will help clients ensure accounts comply with audit standards, provide clear perspectives to audit committees, and deliver critical information to stakeholders. Our service offerings span External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury accounting.

Lead and execute client projects focused on Technical Excellence in Regulatory Reporting for Banks, specifically within Liquidity Reporting and Capital Adequacy Reporting (compliant with UK PRA/EBA/US FED/RBI/HKMA). Review key regulatory reports like LCR, NSFR, and COREP, including capital adequacy and credit risk.

Develop in-depth knowledge of major treasury products (derivatives, securities financing, structured products) and their impact on financial and regulatory reporting. Utilize experience with banking and treasury systems such as Axiom, Murex, or SAP. Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Test Cases, and Design documents, and oversee SIT/UAT testing to secure user sign-off.

Manage client projects, implement digital solutions, and leverage strong project management skills. Possess excellent communication abilities, especially with onshore stakeholders in the UK. Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Power BI, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Drive business development and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with high accuracy.

Qualified candidates will hold a CA (or equivalent like CPA/ACCA) or an MBA in Finance. A minimum of 9 to 12 years of relevant experience is required.

Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and maintain high attention to detail is expected. Knowledge of JIRA/Quality Centre is a plus.
